Empowering Communities Through Nonprofit Collaborations

Join ChamberWest Women in Business at our annual Jingle & Mingle holiday party, where we partner with EyeCare4Kids to sponsor free eye exams for children in need. Each registration includes a pair of stylish glasses, with $10 from every registration and $5 from additional glasses purchases going directly to EyeCare4Kids. Celebrate the season while supporting vision care for kids!

Our impact continues to grow each year. In 2024, we raised $2,400, which helped fund a mobile eye clinic serving students at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School—providing exams and glasses to children in need. In 2025, we raised an additional $1,200, which will help sponsor another mobile clinic visit in 2026.

This partnership also created a meaningful collaboration with St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. In November, ChamberWest Women in Business and staff visited the school during the mobile clinic, presenting a check that helped cover the cost and witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact of improved vision for students.

Schools within the City of Kearns serve a diverse student population, many of whom benefit from additional community support to meet basic needs and succeed academically.

ChamberWest is committed to supporting local students and schools throughout our community. Through our Pickle for Purpose event, in partnership with Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness and Visit Salt Lake, we raised $500 to support middle and high school students in Kearns.

These funds were used to purchase essential items such as sweatpants, shirts, and toiletries—helping meet immediate needs and ensuring students feel confident, supported, and prepared for school.

FBLA is a national student organization that helps young people develop leadership skills, explore career paths, and prepare for success in business and the workforce.

Through our Golf Classic, ChamberWest supports future leaders by investing in youth development. In 2025, we raised $1,000 to sponsor a student from Cyprus High School to participate in FBLA, helping them gain valuable leadership experience, career readiness skills, and educational opportunities.

Each spring, ChamberWest collaborates with Mujeres Unidas de Utah for our Women’s Professional Clothing Drive. From February to April, we collect gently-used business attire and accessories at our office and Salt Lake County locations, empowering Hispanic women to shine in job interviews and workplaces. Together, we advance equality and opportunity.

Neighborhood House provides high-quality, affordable daycare and supportive services to children and families, helping parents work while ensuring their children are in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.

ChamberWest is proud to support their mission. At our December 2025 Friday Connections, we hosted a food drive where attendees were encouraged to bring donations in lieu of a registration fee. Together, we filled an entire truck bed with food and nonperishable items.

Additionally, $250 was raised from registration fees, with all proceeds donated to Neighborhood House—further supporting individuals and families in our community.

South Valley Services provides critical support for domestic violence survivors through shelter, advocacy, and resources to rebuild lives. At our Annual Women in Business Spring Conference, we host a raffle fundraiser, with all proceeds funding professional interview outfits to help survivors confidently re-enter the workforce. ChamberWest is proud to support their mission of safety and empowerment.

St. Francis Xavier Catholic School supports students with essential resources like food and hygiene items. At our Annual Women in Business Spring Conference, we host a “Fill the Pantry Fundraiser,” where attendees donate snacks, toiletries, or volunteer time to stock the school’s pantry. ChamberWest is committed to ensuring kids have what they need to thrive.

At the Spring Women in Business Conference, we raised $500 for the school and contributed 20+ volunteer hours in 2025, demonstrating our continued hands-on support.

In addition, a powerful collaboration between EyeCare4Kids and St. Francis Xavier Catholic School brought a mobile eye clinic directly to students—an initiative supported through ChamberWest fundraising efforts. This partnership ensures students receive critical vision care that supports both their health and academic success.

Synergy Family Services supports families through mental health services, including therapy and counseling, to foster healing and resilience.

At our 2024 Women in Business Spring Conference, we raised $2,000 in support of Synergy’s programs. The event also helped raise awareness through a presentation from Founder and Executive Director, Mandi Makoni.

Our ongoing spring conference raffle efforts continue to fund duffle bags, hygiene kits, and school supplies for foster children. ChamberWest is honored to partner with Synergy to promote family unity and well-being.
