At ChamberWest, our Women in Business initiative is dedicated to empowering and uplifting women as they advance in their professional journeys. Our mission is to work collaboratively with and for our members, fostering an environment where women can thrive through leadership development, education, and the cultivation of meaningful business relationships and networks. We aim to inspire women to take on greater leadership roles with their organizations and communities, helping them to unlock their full potential.
The impact of successful women in business is undeniable. According to the 2022 Annual Report from the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC), women-owned businesses generated an impressive $1.8 trillion in revenues in 2019. However, despite these significant achievements, many women still face challenges in securing the necessary funding to grow their businesses. In fact, 73% of women report difficulties in obtaining funding, and Harvard Business Review highlights that women-led startups received just 2.3% of venture capitalist funding in 2020. At ChamberWest, we are committed to addressing these disparities by providing women with the resources, support, and connections they need to succeed.

Professional Growth Series Luncheon

Annual Spring Conference
Mark your calendars for ChamberWest's highly anticipated Spring Conference, an annual event that continues to grow in impact and attendance, with a record-breaking 200 women joining us in 2024! This vibrant conference features two keynote presenters, five breakout speakers, and plenty of networking opportunities, all designed to empower and inspire women in business. Attendees can explore sponsored booths showcasing local businesses and services while also participating in a special fundraising opportunity to give back to the community. Whether you're looking to expand your professional network or gain new insights from industry leaders, the ChamberWest Spring Conference is the place to be.
Golf for Women in Business
ChamberWest is proud to host our bi-yearly golf events, designed to empower and encourage more women to take to the golf course—a fantastic setting for networking and building professional connections. Our first event is a Golf Clinic, where women can learn the fundamentals of putting, chipping, and driving the ball in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. This clinic is the perfect introduction to the sport, giving participants the confidence to join us later in the year for our Women in Business Golf Event, where they can put their new skills to use while enjoying a day of camaraderie and networking under the sun.

EyeCare4Kids – Join Women in Business of ChamberWest for our annual Jingle & Mingle holiday party, where we’re partnering with EyeCare4Kids! At the end of each year, we sponsor free eye exams and include a pair of star-studded glasses with every registration. $10 from each registration will go directly to EyeCare4Kids, and additional glasses can be purchased for $5, with all proceeds benefiting this amazing cause. Celebrate the holidays while making a difference!
South Valley Services - South Valley Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe haven and supportive resources for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. They offer shelter, advocacy, case management, and educational programs, helping survivors build a future free from abuse. Their comprehensive services empower individuals to regain independence and rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. Women in Business of ChamberWest proudly supports South Valley Services in their mission to help survivors overcome adversity and create a path to a brighter future.
Mujeres Unidas de Utah - Each spring, Women in Business of ChamberWest partners with Mujeres Unidas de Utah for our annual Women's Professional Clothing Drive, just in time for spring cleaning! From February through the end of April, we invite our members to donate clean, gently-used women's business attire and accessories at our office and various locations across Salt Lake County. These donations help Hispanic women in need to confidently present themselves at work or during job interviews. Together, we support Mujeres Unidas de Utah's mission to empower women and promote equality of opportunity in education, healthcare, and work advancement.
Synergy Family Services - Synergy Family Services is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals and families by providing a range of mental health services, including therapy, substance abuse treatment, and family counseling. Through their personalized, holistic approach, they support individuals in overcoming life’s challenges and work toward healing and wellness for long-term success and well-being. Women in Business of ChamberWest is honored to support Synergy Family Services in fostering positive change and promoting mental health and family unity in the community.
The Family Support Center - The Family Support Center offers a wide range of programs to prevent child abuse and support families in crisis. With services like crisis nurseries, in-home parenting support, counseling, and classes, they work tirelessly to strengthen families, promote healthy relationships, and create a safer, more nurturing environment for children. Women in Business of ChamberWest proudly supports The Family Support Center in its efforts to build stronger, more resilient families and ensure the well-being of children in our community.

Women's Business Center of Utah - The Women's Business Center of Utah is dedicated to empowering and supporting women in business by providing resources, training, and mentorship to help women start, grow, and expand their businesses. Through personalized business advising and educational programs, they support the success and sustainability of women-owned businesses across Utah.
Utah Women-owned Business Directory - The Utah Women-Owned Business Directory is an online platform that connects and promotes women-owned businesses throughout the state. By featuring a wide variety of businesses, the directory empowers consumers to support local, women-owned enterprises, fostering economic growth and female entrepreneurship in Utah.
SheMoney - SheMoney is a financial empowerment platform designed to help women take control of their finances. Through education, community, and innovative tools, SheMoney provides women with the knowledge and confidence to manage their money, build wealth, and achieve financial independence.
ShePlace - ShePlace is a community-driven platform that aims to uplift and connect women by offering resources, events, and support for personal and professional growth. By fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration, ShePlace encourages women to share experiences and grow together in their personal and business endeavors.
40 Over 40 - The 40 Over 40 program honors Utah's most accomplished professionals who, after the age of 40, continue to make significant contributions to their industries and communities. By recognizing their achievements, this women in business network highlights the value of experience, leadership, and the impact that seasoned professionals have in shaping Utah's business and cultural landscape.
